“We opened in 2013 in a small office in downtown St. Petersburg,” says founder and owner Jeremy Ritchea, a long-time gun enthusiast. “It only provided space for a very small display area, but as the business grew, I realized we needed a better way to showcase the wide range of firearms we carry.”
The new office opened for business on Tuesday, July 29, and offers 800 square feet of office, display, and classroom space. The company buys and sells all types of firearms: revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, and hunting and assault rifles. Staff includes two accredited NRA instructors and a full time gunsmith. General Manager T.J. Sanna, a veteran of the Operation Iraqi Freedom campaign, brings an impressive understanding of military firearms.
Classes in basic pistol safety are offered on the first Thursday of every month from 6 pm till 9 pm. Classes for certification for state license-to-conceal permits are on the third Saturday of each month from 10 am till 1 pm. Private and group classes are also available.
R&R Firearms is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am to 6 pm, Thursdays from10 am to 7 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am till 5 pm.
